This anthology is the fruit of an enduring cooperation between the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival (UWRF) and Hivos. Both organizations share a passion in providing a platform upon which an opoen and dynamic dialogue involving young authors from across the archipelago could take place.

The cooperation, which was started in 2008, has enabled UWRF to become the only literary festival in Indonesia that consistenly provides a significant space for young and emerging authors.

Through transparent selection system presided over by a board of curators, UWRF annually selects 15 to 16 emerging Indonesian emerging writers to be invited to the festival.
