Call for Volunteers

IDWRITERS relies on volunteers (hereinafter referred to as contributors)—and interns—for assistance with a wide variety of tasks. These include: 1) curating content and expanding our ever-growing data bank; 2) writing articles for our literary blog; 3) collaborating on special projects and preparing for events; 4) conducting research on diverse topics; and 5) handling marketing and communications needs.

The first-two are the main tasks, as these are the essence of the presence of this site. But first and foremost, flexibility and willingness to help out wherever needed are the main qualities we are looking for.

Necessary skills for all contributors: literary-enthusiasm, willingness to work on a variety of projects, attention to detail, good organizational skills, ability to learn new tasks quickly, and pride in a job well done.

So, whether you are a literary expert or simply a clueless—but curious—about literary works in Indonesia, we have a place for you. Show your interest by sending us an email to volunteer@idwriters.com. Let us know more about you, especially your interests and availability. Once received, we will contact you to schedule a talk.

Thank you!
