Call for Volunteers.
We have a place for you!

IDWRITERS relies on volunteers (from now on referred to as contributors) and interns for various tasks. These include: 1) curating content and expanding our ever-growing data bank, 2) writing articles for our literary blog and newsletter, 3) researching diverse topics, 4) collaborating on special projects (and preparing for events), and 5) handling marketing and communications needs.

Administrative Assisstant
Blog/Journal/Newsletter Editors
Communication Officer
Social Media & Content Specialist

These are the essence of the presence of this site. But first and foremost, flexibility and willingness to help out wherever needed are the main attributes we are looking for. Necessary skills for all contributors: exceptional English communication skills, literary enthusiasm, willingness to work on various projects, attention to detail, good organizational skills, ability to learn new tasks quickly, and pride in a job well done.

Whether you are a literary expert or simply clueless—but curious about Indonesia’s literary works, we have a place for you. Show your interest by sending us an email to volunteer@idwriters.com. Let us know more about you, especially your enthusiasm and availability.

Presented in English, IDWRITERS aims to break down the language barriers that have prevented Indonesian literature from becoming more widespread. It is a powerful platform for showcasing Indonesian literature and sharing it with the world.
