Eighteen books were launched during the World Book Fair 2007 in Suntec Exhibition and Convention Centre, Singapore in 2007 organised by SBPA (Singapore Book Publishers Association). This is the first time that members of ASEAN Book Publishers’ Association (ABPA) launched books from their respective countries: eight from Singapore, and two from Thailand, Philippine, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, and Indonesia respectively. The two titles from Indonesia are “Extrinsicality of Indonesian Literature” by Maman Mahayana, published by Rajagrafindo and “Kongres Perempuan Pertama and Tinjauan Ulang (First Women’s Congress)” by Susan Blackburn, with foreword by Atashendartini Koesoema Oetoyo-Habsjah Monique Soesman (editor), which is published by Yayasan Obor Indonesia and KITLV-Jakarta.

About Us

For short, our main feature, the writer's directory, provides a way for writers to find one another, but more importantly, the resources provided make it easy for event hosts—especially for international event hosts—literary organizers, arts administrators, librarians, booksellers, and readers to get in touch with writers. It's a HOME FOR INDONESIAN WRITERS. We strive to break down the language barriers that have prevented Indonesian books or literature from becoming more widespread.

Questions, comments, articles, info, etc. are more than welcome. Just send us an e-mail, mention us on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook or use the contact form.
