KWEE TEK HOAY, a Chinese Indonesian Malay-language writer of novels and drama, and a journalist, died #onthisday in 1951 in Cicurug, Sukabumi at the age of 65. He was found dead in his yard. His last work before his death, seven volumes related to various aspects of Confucianism, was published in 1950.
