Bunyamin Fasya, the pen name of Bunyamin Faisal Syarifudin, was born in Tasikmalaya on November 16th 1978. Active in FAS (Forum Alternatif Sastra) Bandung. His poems and essays have been published in a variety of mass media including Kompas, Jurnal Sajak, Pikiran Rakyat, Kompas Jabar, Tribun Jabar, Lampung Post, Majalah Story, Buletin Jejak, Grandis, Wacana Publik, Majalah Suaka and collected in several anthologies including Metamorfosa (Komunitas Siraru, 2003), Bersama Gerimis (Majelis Sastra Bandung, 2010), Ziarah Kata (Majelis Sastra Bandung, 2010), Di Kamar Mandi 62 Penyair Jawa Barat (Komunitas Malaikat, 2012), Poetry, Diverse 120 Indonesian Poets (Shell Publishing, 2012), Nisan di Kota Api (Penerbit Siraru, 2013), Kampung Bulan (Dinas Budaya dan Pariwisata Kota Tasikmalaya, 2013). He was invited to the Temu Sastra Nusantara Mitra Praja Utama (MPU) 2012 in Yogyakarta.1
