Natasya Fila Rais believes that literature is the only thing that can keep her tame from the wilderness of her thoughts. She began pursuing acting from the age of 5, portraying roles on TV shows, such as “Si Yoyo”, “Mereka Ada Dimana-Mana”, and “Sinema Hidayah”. Achieving her wildest dream to become an author, Natasya released her debut English novel, “Ephemerae”, at the age of 17 on January 2017. Later on the same year, she published her second novel – fully in her mother tongue – titled “Acabella”. Active in promoting gender equality, Natasya has published numerous articles regarding the topic on Magdalene, the Affinity Magazine, and Women’s Republic. Her academic paper was chosen to be presented on the 1st International Conference on Law and Justice, held by UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The Jakarta resident not only spend her spare time dreaming about New York in vibrant colors, but she is also pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Law at Universitas Indonesia.
