The O Project

The Orgasm Project was born out of the vulnerability of women’s bodily autonomy caused by myths and taboos. Drawing on orgasm stories from women in Aceh, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar, the author explores sexuality in a comprehensive way.

From female circumcision and virginity myths to physical fitness, safe sex practices, masturbation, sex toys, and the diversity of sexual orientations and gender identities, all are presented through engaging narratives.

This project succeeds in breaking women’s silence around sexual pleasure and orgasm.
