Home for Indonesian Writers
IDWRITERS relies on volunteers (and interns) to support a wide range of work that keeps this platform alive. From curating content and expanding our data bank, to writing for our literary blog and newsletter, researching literary topics, collaborating on special projects, and managing communications — volunteers have always been at the heart of what we do.
At its core, IDWRITERS is a collaborative, living archive of Indonesian literature. Your contributions help us document writers, amplify diverse voices, and make Indonesian literature more visible to the world.
We welcome individuals who bring: genuine enthusiasm for literature, a willingness to work across different tasks, attention to detail, good organizational habits, the ability to learn quickly, and pride in doing meaningful work.
Whether you’re a seasoned literary enthusiast or simply curious about Indonesia’s literary landscape, there’s a place for you here.
Presented in English, IDWRITERS aims to break language barriers and expand the reach of Indonesian literature globally. As a volunteer, you will help strengthen this mission.
