Sindikasi Aksara is an independent collective of literacy advocates based in Bandung. Founded by Indra Wardhana, Deni Rahman, Tiwi Kasavela, and Foggy FF, the collective brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds—free library founders, bookstore owners, journalists, and writers—united by a shared passion for reading and cultural dialogue.
Through its collaborative programs—most notably Kamisan Aksara—Sindikasi Aksara curates discussions and events that explore books, ideas, and the evolving landscape of literacy in Indonesia. The collective aims to ignite reading interest, connect communities, and create spaces for thoughtful exchange across different perspectives.
Amid Bandung’s vibrant mix of literary and cultural communities, Sindikasi Aksara stands as more than a platform, it is a living space for ideas and collaboration, nurturing creative energy and keeping conversations around literature alive and relevant.
In October 2025, Sindikasi Aksara officially introduced its first published work, an anthology titled Perempuan yang Menulis Langit dari Bandung (Women Who Write the Sky from Bandung). The book emerged from the collective restlessness of women writers within the community, who found a voice under Sindikasi Aksara’s umbrella. Through fiction, thirteen women explore themes of the body, femicide, power relations, and the lingering wounds of trauma—bringing quiet yet powerful reflections from Bandung’s literary scene into the wider conversation.
