The fact is that various local and international literary festivals are held in several Indonesian cities with many attendees, even amid the COVID-19 pandemic. In this interview, Sarah Monica, an Indonesian writer and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of digital media Beritabaru.co, have a conversation with Yusi Avianto Pareanom, author, publisher, member of the Jakarta Art Council, and Curator and Director of the Jakarta International Literary Festival (JILF) 2019.
