Digital Editor in Chief at The Jakarta Post from 2015. By February 2018, he received new position as Chief Editor for The Jakarta Post national daily. Elected for his second term of 2016-2019 at The Indonesian Press Council. Prior to his current position, he was a chairman of The Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI Indonesia). Co-Founder and Managing Editor at VIVA.co.id, an online news site affiliated to VIVA Media Group. Responsible to multimedia coverage, special reports, interview, analysis, videos, photos, web design and convergence project. Brought the portal to the most top three online media in Indonesia (according to Effective Measure and Alexa rank). In 2007, Nezar Patria graduated a master degree MSc in History of International Relations, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), University of London, UK. He has worked on various media platform, and now he is focusing on online journalism.1
