S Metron Masdison was born in Padang on March 10th, 1974. He is Cultural Educator at the Ministry of Education and Culture. His first novel was Kisah Anak Muda (2013). He entered the arts in 1993 Bumi Teater, then founding Ranah Teater Padang. His three scenarios won the writing competition held by the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Economy. He was invited to the Dewan Kesenian Jakarta in 2003 to perform at the Forum Silaturahmi Teater. He writes about film, theatre and literature for various media.
