Sanie B. Kuncoro

Writer

Sanie B. Kuncoro, resides on the outskirts of Solo city in a red brick house with a river stone fence. She doesn’t want to stop writing, yet she also doesn’t want to become a full-time writer. For her, prose is a playmate that provides unlimited imagination, alongside a reality filled with life challenges that are not always pleasant. Moving back and forth between the two makes her life akin to a fascinating journey. “Memilikimu” (Having You) is her third novel after “Mayan” and “Garis Perempuan” (The Female Line). Her short story anthologies include “Cerita Perempuan” (Women’s Stories), “Melepas Ranting Hati” (Letting Go of Heart Branches), and “Dongeng Kunang-Kunang” (Firefly Tales).
