Tida Wilson is a poet, writer, and essayist whose work interrogates the friction between daily struggle and sensory indulgence under the weight of modern capitalism. His writing navigates the “spectacle” of the everyday, finding the pulse where systemic exhaustion meets aesthetic pleasure. His writing has been featured in diverse outlets and zines, including Zine Festival Kampung Kota (2017), Otonomedia (Grimloc, 2020), and the essay anthology Sang Pembohong Jujur: Bonang P. Sirait (Medium Press, 2024).
His debut poetry collection, Bunga Besi, represents a decade of poetic evolution. Written in an experimental yet almost didactic style, the collection is defined by Tida’s signature acerbic humor and a deeply intertextual approach. Drawing from his background as a Fine Art graduate and a musician with the band Future Collective, his literary work frequently references art, cinema, and music, creating a rich, multi-disciplinary dialogue.
When not creating, he balances his artistic pursuits with his professional day job.
