Pertiwi loses her brother, Santoso, swallowed by the Laut Selatan. Far too soon, long before his time. In her grief, Pertiwi discovers that she possesses a supernatural ability that connects her to another realm—an ability that guides her through the years she spends searching for what remains of her brother, and also toward understanding herself and her family.
