Forum Lingkar Pena

Forum Lingkar Pena (FLP) is the largest writing organization that has continuously produced works and nurtured new writers across various genres—both fiction and nonfiction—for more than 20 years. Founded by activists and writers, the organization has continued to grow not only within Indonesia but also internationally, with branches across continents such as Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, and even the United States.

Its members—who come from diverse backgrounds, including government officials, teachers, lecturers, researchers, activists, homemakers, university students, and even schoolchildren—constantly produce ideas and creative content, both online and offline, to spread positive inspiration to many people. This wide variety of creative outputs—in the form of fiction, nonfiction, films, and more—has contributed positively to the growth of literacy and culture in Indonesian society.
