He worked at women’s tabloid Nova from 1991 to 1993 and children’s magazine Bobo from 1994 to 2010. His published books include a biography of Teguh Srimulat, the Bagito group and Teater Koma. His last book before the hiatus in 2012 was a biography of businessman F.X. Sri Martono of the Astra group. Herry has retired from journalism and now aims to create more literary works. He published his collection of short stories in 2003.1
