Completed her baccalaureate and master’s degrees at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Gadjah Mada University, and her doctoral degree at the Asien-Afrika-Institut, Universität Hamburg. She is a lecturer at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Gadjah Mada University. Ramayda has won numerous awards for her short and long fiction work and has also written several academic books. Her latest work, Aliansi Monyet Putih, was recently published.1
