A writer and journalist. In 2015, he published his book entitled “Inilah Jihadku”, narrating his struggles as a disabled in Indonesia. Zulfikar is also a journalist who has written over 200 articles in many global media including the Huffington Post, the Diplomat, Fair Observer, and Asia Sentinel. He pursued his undergraduate study in international affairs and Middle East politics at Qatar University, and received an MA in International Politics from the University of Manchester. Zulfikar is currently completing his doctorate degree at Manchester. Outside academia and journalism, Muhammad is founder and CEO of Sekolabilitas, an Indonesian-based NGO focusing on helping students with disabilities in accessing proper education.
