Marcella Purnama

A writer, blogger and editor. She graduated from Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne in 2012, majoring in Psychology and Media and Communications. Marcella is experienced in journalism, videography, marketing communications and content writing. In 2014, she ventures to the publishing world, studying Master of Publishing and Communications at the University of Melbourne.

Originally from Jakarta, Marcella is a fourth generation Chinese Indonesian who can’t function without her morning coffee.

In 2013, Marcella wrote and self-published a short memoir on her life after graduation, Swimming with The Sharks. Her first book on adulting, What I Wish I Had Known, is published in 2017.

Marcella switches home frequently between Jakarta and Melbourne.
