Blog about the preparation of Indonesia to be the Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2015, the largest book fair in the world. Launched to provide a networking platform and knowledge base for all parties involved in the preparation of Indonesia to be the Guest of Honour in Frankfurt in 2015: Ministries of the Republic of Indonesia, Goethe-Institut, Frankfurt Book Fair, the National Organizing Committee to-be, PerpusNas (National Library of Indonesia), IKAPI (The Association of Indonesian Publishers), Lontar Foundation, authors and publishers (fiction, non-fiction, comic, photobook, etc.), editors, translators, and other interested people and groups from the Indonesian as well as the international side.

As of now, our resource library consists of approximately 600 writers, 831 books by 257 publishers, 771 contributing authors, 1146 (385 coverages, 224 clippings, and 537 reviews) articles published in 360 media outlets, 81 works in translation, and 58 useful resources that we consider particularly worth noting.

For short, our main feature, the writer's directory, provides a way for writers to find one another, but more importantly, the resources provided make it easy for event hosts—especially for international event hosts—literary organizers, arts administrators, librarians, booksellers, and readers to get in touch with writers. It's a HOME FOR INDONESIAN WRITERS. We strive to break down the language barriers that have prevented Indonesian books or literature from becoming more widespread.
