A children’s book author and illustrator born and raised in Indonesia. From a young age, she loved nothing more than telling stories and filling out papers—including school textbooks—with doodles. Stories and imagination are her safe places to escape from her challenging childhood.

Despite juggling studies, a day job as a graphic designer, and helping her parents at their stall, she always retained her love of storytelling and illustration. She pursued her passion by working late into the night on children’s book illustrations. Although the path was rocky, she persevered and have since illustrated more than a dozen children’s books in Indonesia.

In 2016, she took a leap of faith and left her day job to focus on illustration full-time. She continued to work with publishers across Asia and self-published authors before signing with The Cat Agency in 2019. She has since illustrated several books for American publishers, including Margaret Aitken’s “Old Friends, “How We Say I Love You” by Nicole Chen, and “Smiling Eyes” by Linda Sue Park. She also wrote and illustrated “Spicy Spicy Hot!” and “Wolfgang in the Meadow.”1

About Us

For short, our main feature, the writer's directory, provides a way for writers to find one another, but more importantly, the resources provided make it easy for event hosts—especially for international event hosts—literary organizers, arts administrators, librarians, booksellers, and readers to get in touch with writers. It's a HOME FOR INDONESIAN WRITERS. We strive to break down the language barriers that have prevented Indonesian books or literature from becoming more widespread.

Questions, comments, articles, info, etc. are more than welcome. Just send us an e-mail, mention us on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook or use the contact form.
