The novel tells the story of a group of teenagers who grow up together into adulthood.
The tale revolves around the friendship of Tama, Randy, and Menik, students at Nusantara junior high school.
Randy aspires to be a comic artist, Menik dreams of becoming a film star, while Tama has the unusual ambition of becoming a farmer! These unconventional dreams bring them together, and unintentionally, they become disruptors of the authoritarian education system.
