A children and teens book author who has published several books, including a reference book titled ‘Autograph Collector: Hobby Unik yang Jarang Dilirik’ that received MURI award 2010 and a picture book for children titled ‘Waktunya Cepuk Terbang’ that received Samsung KidsTime Author’s Award 2016 in Singapore. In 2017, Debby received grants from KBN (Komite Buku Nasional / National Book Committee) and Ministry of Education & Culture for a one-month writer residency in United Kingdom where she did a research on adapting folktales in modern era. In 2018, she was considered as one of Literacy Activists by Ministry of Education & Culture. Debby is also a member of KPBA (Kelompok Pencinta Bacaan Anak / The Society for the Advancement of Children’s Literature) and has the opportunity to organize KPBA-Bali branch. In the mean time, Debby is also one of the ‘Komunitas Kanaditya’ founders, a community that focuses on literacy, education and social works for children from less fortunate families. ‘Komunitas Kanaditya’ publishes a free online magazine ‘Arkuma Kidz’ twice a month that is available in its official website (www.kanaditya.org)
